We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Safety Manager who can lead from the field, influence teams, and elevate safety performance across complex, high-visibility projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required
  • OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required
  • First Aid/CPR certified
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
  • Must have experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
  • Excellent verbal and written skills

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience supporting safety on data center or other mission-critical construction projects (or similar high-tech environments)
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and client-driven safety programs
  • Experience working in fast-paced, multi-trade environments with overlapping scopes
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both field teams and executive stakeholders
  • Confident leading trainings, toolbox talks, and safety stand-downs
  • Hands-on, visible leader who builds trust and drives accountability in the field
  • Experience with high-risk scopes such as energized systems, LOTO, fall protection, rigging, steel erection, and excavation

Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site safety efforts for large-scale, mission-critical data center projects
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, client standards, and site-specific safety requirements
  • Drive a proactive safety culture through daily engagement, field presence, and relationship building
  • Conduct daily safety meetings, audits, and inspections to identify risks and implement real-time solutions
  • Oversee and enforce safety compliance across multiple subcontractors and trades in a high-activity environment
  • Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventative actions
  • Support high-risk activities including energized work, LOTO, fall protection, rigging, steel erection, and excavation
  • Collaborate closely with project leadership, superintendents, and client stakeholders to align on safety goals
