Safety Specialist| Winnemucca, NV
About The Position
HazTek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist in Winnemucca, NV to support our growing commercial construction projects. If you’re passionate about making an impact, driving compliance, and building a culture where every worker goes home safe, we want you on our team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of a commercial construction project, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting daily safety meetings, completing accident reports and investigations, ensuring proper PPE usage, and performing daily safety audits and inspections. The position offers a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation with approximately 57 hours per week, and includes housing, transportation to/from the job site, catered food, laundry services, and trips home.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required
- OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required
- First Aid/CPR certified
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily safety meetings
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
