Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required
- OSHA 30, HAZWOPER 40, and First Aid/CPR required
- Strong knowledge of environmental and construction safety standards
- Must have experience in Trenching and Excavation, Fall Protection, Scaffolding, and Steel Erection
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, Accountability
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 501 is highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
- Conduct daily safety meetings
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
- Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Daily safety audits and inspections
- Inspect power tools and heavy equipment
