About The Position

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to support multiple active construction projects throughout the State College/Altoona, PA region. This is a full-time position requiring regular travel between project sites within approximately a 75-mile radius. Requirements

OSHA 30 required
Previous construction safety experience required
Ability to independently manage safety responsibilities across multiple active project sites
Strong communication, organization, and hazard-recognition skills
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
Must be comfortable with frequent regional driving

Nice To Haves

Electrical Transmission & Distribution (T&D) experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct routine safety visits and audits across 5–6 active project sites
Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and work with project teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented
Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, and site-specific safety policies
Conduct site inspections and document safety observations and findings
Provide field-level safety support and guidance to project teams
Communicate effectively with project management, supervisors, and field personnel
Maintain required safety documentation and audit reports
Travel regularly between project locations throughout the assigned region
