About The Position

HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Professional to support multiple active construction projects throughout the State College/Altoona, PA region. This is a full-time position requiring regular travel between project sites within approximately a 75-mile radius. Requirements

  • OSHA 30 required
  • Previous construction safety experience required
  • Ability to independently manage safety responsibilities across multiple active project sites
  • Strong communication, organization, and hazard-recognition skills
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
  • Must be comfortable with frequent regional driving

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Transmission & Distribution (T&D) experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine safety visits and audits across 5–6 active project sites
  • Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and work with project teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, and site-specific safety policies
  • Conduct site inspections and document safety observations and findings
  • Provide field-level safety support and guidance to project teams
  • Communicate effectively with project management, supervisors, and field personnel
  • Maintain required safety documentation and audit reports
  • Travel regularly between project locations throughout the assigned region
