About The Position
HazTek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist in Philadelphia, PA to support our growing commercial construction projects. This role is crucial in ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting daily safety meetings, completing accident reports, performing accident investigations, and ensuring all personnel wear appropriate PPE. The specialist will also conduct daily safety audits and inspections, and inspect power tools and heavy equipment. HazTek is dedicated to building a culture of safety and excellence, and this position plays a key role in that mission.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required
- OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required
- First Aid/CPR certified
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
- Must have experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
- Excellent verbal and written skills
