About The Position
HazTek is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager in Abington, PA to provide on-site EHS support for a large-scale industrial construction project. The ideal candidate will promote a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with project teams to support safe execution of all construction activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction safety experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- OSHA 30 Construction required
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or mission-critical construction projects preferred
- OSHA 500/510 or CHST, ASP, or CSP preferred

Responsibilities
- Provide daily safety oversight of construction activities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
- Monitor high-risk activities including fall protection, cranes, MEWPs, ladders, excavation, and power tools
- Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and daily pre-task meetings
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain required safety documentation and reports
- Collaborate with field leadership to promote a strong safety culture
