Requirements
- College/University graduate with 1-3 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of skills and experience generally expected for specified technical roles.
- Strong verbal presentation and facilitation skills.
- Understanding of Worker’s Compensation and Return to Work process.
- Currently hold or willingness to obtain additional education, safety certifications, and designations required. Designations include but not limited to: BCSP – ASP, OHST preferred, NSC Advanced Safety Certificate, OSHA 30 Hour, Train the trainer designations related to Safety and Health.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other computer software.

Responsibilities
- Champion safety compliance across the manufacturing facility by ensuring teams follow applicable rules, regulations, procedures, and best practices.
- Inspect facility, identify hazards, analyze trends, and partner with shop leadership to implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain shop-specific safety programs, manuals, standards, procedures, and training matrices.
- Lead safety orientations and training, including new hire presentations, Lock Out Tag Out, industrial hygiene, and machine guarding.
- Investigate incidents, manage claims and clinic visits, maintain regulatory records, and support recovery plans.
- Support prevention and compliance efforts through safe work practices, PPE, OSHA VPP-aligned controls, contractor/vendor vetting, testing, and safety data analysis.
