About The Position

A privately owned, growing construction company based in Delray Beach is seeking a Safety Specialist to support and strengthen safety operations across active job sites. This is a hands-on, field-focused role requiring daily travel to projects within approximately a 100-mile radius. This position is ideal for someone who wants to drive real change—moving safety culture from reactive to proactive while building trust with field teams.

Requirements

3+ years of safety positions
Construction industry experience (required)
Willingness and ability to travel daily to job sites within a ~100-mile radius
Strong communication skills with both field and office teams
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset—someone who genuinely cares about improving safety
Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Experience working with a captive insurer or in-house claims process
Background in heavy civil or paving projects
OSHA 30 (or equivalent certification)

Responsibilities

Travel to active construction job sites (primarily north of Delray Beach)
Conduct routine safety inspections and audits
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance standards
Partner with field teams to promote best practices and safe behaviors
Support workers’ compensation and claims management in coordination with a captive insurer
Identify risks and implement proactive safety improvements
Help build and reinforce a strong, company-wide safety culture
Collaborate with a team of field and office personnel across multiple projects
