Safety & Security Officer
About The Position

As a Safety & Security Officer at MVW, you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories, where meaningful moments are made together. This role involves patrolling the property, administering first aid, ensuring security, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and maintaining guest satisfaction while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
- Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
- Must have a U.S. valid driver's license for a minimum of one year.
- Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property by foot or vehicle using specified equipment (e.g., flashlight, high visibility jacket).
- Administer first aid/CPR to Owner/guests or associates as required.
- Ensure Owner/guest and meeting rooms are secure and assist Owner/guests with room access.
- Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems.
- Respond to the scene of Owner/guest or associate accidents and determine if emergency aid is required.
- Defuse Owner/guest or associate disturbances/altercations following company policies and procedures.
- Handle lost and found, logging and returning items.
- Utilize computer systems, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; and answer the phone using proper telephone etiquette.
- Oversee OSHA & FLS violations to mitigate risks throughout the property.
- Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
- Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
- Contribute to team goals.
- Always follow company policies and safety procedures.
