Requirements

3+ years in safety, security, or risk management, ideally in hospitality, resort, or a similar guest-facing environment.
Experience leading and training a team.
Working knowledge of fire/life safety systems, emergency response, and incident reporting.
CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
Sound judgment, discretion, and clear communication with guests and team members.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership, management, and accountability for all safety + security across property
Develop and lead emergency response procedures.
Maintain Fire/Life Safety equipment and keep it compliant.
Manage and train Safety & Security practices for guests, team members, and property.
Manage the safety and security of team members, guests, and company assets, including assisting in investigations when needed.
Provide safety + security partnership for all departments
Establish + maintain strong partnerships with local law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, security professionals etc
Consistently evaluate policies/practices to identify short term + long term goals + needed policies
Oversee vehicle maintenance of property units (including, but not limited to bikes, golf carts, cars, trucks etc..)
Champion key watcher devise and key control through property
Oversee/train and manage any 3rd party security teams or safety vendors
Support other Facilities teams when applicable.
