We’re looking for a detail-driven leader to oversee all aspects of safety, security, and regulatory compliance at our distribution centers in Washington, Idaho & Oregon. This role ensures our people, products, and facilities meet the highest standards for OSHA, FDA, food safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Background in Transportation Management (camera systems), Occupational Health/Safety (OSHA), and Food Safety (FDA).
- 3+ years’ experience in safety, compliance, and/or food safety (distribution or manufacturing preferred).
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, FDA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
- Skilled in training, auditing, and working cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to travel 10–20%.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications in OSHA/Food Safety a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead employee safety programs, audits, and inspections (OSHA, FDA, EPA, DOT)
- Oversee food safety and food defense programs, including pest control and GMP compliance.
- Develop and deliver safety training in partnership with corporate teams.
- Maintain regulatory records, reports, and filings.
- Serve as the main point of contact for audits, inspections, and contractors.
- Support new projects with safety expertise (facilities, equipment, product development).
- Stay current on regulations and guide leadership on compliance best practices.
