About The Position
The Safety Program Specialist is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Austin, Texas area. This role is responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining safety programs at the assigned project site, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. The Safety Program Specialist works closely with project teams, supervisors, contractors, and leadership to identify potential hazards, recommend and implement corrective actions, and promote a strong, proactive safety culture throughout the job site.

Responsibilities
- Conducting safety audits and inspections
- Leading toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Providing safety training
- Preparing reports
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Providing guidance on incident prevention and safety best practices
- Implementing, supporting, and maintaining safety programs at the assigned project site
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
- Identifying potential hazards
- Recommending and implementing corrective actions
- Promoting a strong, proactive safety culture
