MONITOR COMPANY SAFETY ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS TO ENSURE A SAFE AND ACCIDENT-FREE WORK ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL EMPLOYEES. CONDUCTS FACILITY AND VEHICLE HANDLING SAFETY AUDITS FOR ALL EMPLOYEES. ASSISTS WITH CONDUCTING OSHA TRAINING, AND INVESTIGATING VEHICLE ACCIDENTS AND INJURIES.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/G.E.D
- Must hold a valid state-issued driver's license without restrictions
- Experienced in Safety
- Knowledge of OSHA standards
- Computer Skills
- Must be at least 19 years old
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma Preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Monitor the work environment for possible hazards such as slips, trips, falls, electrical shock, and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Conduct inspections of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity.
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
- Assist with entering accident and injury reports into PMVITALS.
- Conduct safety audits, to include PPE, observing safety procedures, etc.
- Issue citations to employees out of compliance
- Assist Safety Manager in all safety programs.
- Assist with security audits / investigations
- Assist with issuance / deactivation of access badges
- Assist departments in safety procedure
- All other duties assigned
