To develop, implement, and evaluate all Emergency Preparedness and Environment of Care plans and programs in order to maintain a safe environment for patients and personnel. Assess and monitor compliance with Joint Commission, CDPH, OSHA, EPA, hazardous materials, emergency response standards, and other regulatory agencies. Communicate Environment of Care and Emergency Preparedness information to management staff, supervisory staff, physicians and employees. Represent hospital in coordination with community and regional based agencies. Recommend courses of action for managing Environment of Care and Emergency Preparedness concerns and problems.
