Specific responsibility for planning, implementation, and management of Environment of Care (EOC): OSHA, Life Safety, Emergency Preparedness and Management programs within Federal/State, and THR guidelines. Responsibility for education, training, and coaching of facility staff and leadership relevant to, but not limited to EOC issues, OSHA, Life Safety, Emergency Management, Joint Commission, EPA, NFPA, DEA, TDH-DSHS, etc. Prepares and analyzes safety reports from surveillance of the medical office practices. Conducts interviews with clinic staff and management related to EOC, OSHA, Emergency Management, and Hazardous Materials. Maintains reporting documents and forwards pertinent information to appropriate key stakeholders. Escalates any urgent findings to Director Risk Management. Always supportive in the training and delivery of regulatory requirements. Attendance and involvement in appropriate committee meetings, organization meetings and co-ordination of plans to promote compliance with specified regulatory requirements.
