About The Position

Requirements

• Must possess a valid CPR certification.
• Must possess a valid Virginia State EMT-Basic, Advanced, Intermediate, or Paramedic Certification.
• Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification (EVOC) class II preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responding to medical emergencies and giving competent first aid care to guests and team members within certified training levels and in accordance with approved Six Flags Entertainment protocols.
• Provides basic clinical and/or basic life support care to guests and employees including wound care, removing splinters, administering over-the-counter medications and basic health evaluations according to Kings Dominion guidelines and ODEMSA protocols.
• Promptly responds to medical calls in the park.
• Performs thorough accident investigations.
• Processes and completes departmental paperwork and maintains high degree of confidentiality.
• Cleans and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Assists with patient follow up, as needed.

Benefits

• $17.50/hour with EMT certification + Haunt Bonus
• $20.00/hour with Paramedic certification + Haunt Bonus
• This role is eligible for the Haunt Bonus of $3 extra per hour on operating days, you must work the last weekend of Haunt.
