About The Position

We are seeking a Safety Manager to support multiple commercial and industrial concrete construction projects throughout the Reno market, including major slab and data center projects. This is a highly field-focused role with minimal office time. You will spend your days where safety matters most, working directly with crews, superintendents, and project leadership to drive safe operations and strengthen an already established safety culture.

Requirements

OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 Certification Required
Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
Bilingual English/Spanish Required
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to influence crews through coaching and leadership, not enforcement alone

Nice To Haves

Commercial or industrial concrete construction safety experience
Data center project experience
BCSP Certification (CHST or higher strongly preferred)
Four-year degree preferred

Responsibilities

Provide safety leadership across multiple active concrete construction projects throughout the Reno market
Conduct daily site walks, inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
Maintain a visible field presence and build strong relationships with craft workers and supervisors
Support forming, finishing, tilt-up, cast-in-place, and large-scale slab operations
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Partner with project teams to proactively address hazards before incidents occur
