Requirements

  • OSHA 30 Construction Certification
  • Experience working with electrical contractors
  • 3+ years of construction safety experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards
  • Working knowledge of Electrical Construction Safety
  • Working knowledge of Data Center Construction
  • Working knowledge of Temporary Power Systems
  • Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of Arc Flash & Shock Hazard Awareness
  • Working knowledge of Cable Tray & Electrical Equipment Installation
  • Working knowledge of Aerial Lifts & MEWPs
  • Working knowledge of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Development
  • Working knowledge of Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis
  • Working knowledge of Contractor Safety Management
  • Working knowledge of Construction Risk Assessment & Mitigation

Nice To Haves

  • Data center construction experience
  • NFPA 70E knowledge or experience
  • Experience supporting Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and energized work planning
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily safety activities for electrical construction operations
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
  • Support electrical installation activities, temporary power systems, and equipment installations
  • Assist with energized work planning and electrical hazard mitigation
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety coaching
  • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
  • Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
  • Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
  • Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project
