About The Position

We're seeking an experienced Safety Manager to provide hands-on field safety leadership during the installation of a new airport conveyor system in Seattle. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident safety professional who thrives in high-visibility, fast-moving construction environments and knows how to build trust with field crews while holding firm safety standards. The role involves providing visible, hands-on safety leadership throughout active airport construction operations, performing daily jobsite inspections, conducting safety orientations, overseeing safety activities related to the conveyor system installation, and monitoring work areas for compliance with OSHA requirements and site-specific safety procedures. The Safety Manager will partner with project leadership, supervisors, and field crews to maintain a proactive safety culture, support hazard identification and corrective-action follow-up, and help keep demanding nighttime construction activities safe, organized, and compliant.

Requirements

  • OSHA 30 certification
  • At least five years of construction safety experience
  • Experience conducting field inspections and safety orientations
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and jobsite hazard controls
  • Ability to confidently communicate with project leadership and field personnel
  • Willingness and availability to work night shifts and weekends as needed
  • Ability to maintain a consistent, highly visible presence in the field
