About The Position

Code Red Safety is seeking a Safety Supervisor to oversee maintenance projects at the US Steel Granite City plant. This is a contract position expected to last approximately 6 months, with work beginning immediately. The schedule will be 5/10s.

Requirements

• Previous safety management experience within a plant environment.
• At least 5 years of safety management experience in a steel mill.
• Have one of the following certifications: OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CHST, or similar.
• Have a current FA/CPR certification.
• Must be able to pass a drug test & background check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with iron worker oversite a plus.
