About The Position

The Safety Manager supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety. This role involves overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects within pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring OSHA compliance. The position requires conducting daily safety meetings, completing accident reports, performing accident investigations, conducting daily safety audits and inspections, overseeing subcontractors and contractors, and writing job hazard analyses (JHA) and health & safety plans (HASP).

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years direct construction safety experience required
• Working knowledge pharmaceutical safety protocols
• OSHA 510 required
• Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
• Great verbal and written communication
• Ability to coach and mentor in all facets of the construction safety process
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
