The Safety Manager ensures that all Haydon job sites remain focused on completing projects in a safe manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Preview projects and project sites before work begins to determine safety related risks and attend kick-off meeting Educate operations teams on lessons learned in similar project type to mitigate future incidents Visit active project sites to assess ongoing work conditions to ensure compliance with established safety policies Work with project management teams and field workers to develop and implement solutions to safety related issues on project sites Conduct routine safety audits as at when due (bi-weekly reviews) Carry out safety training programs for company employees on regular basis Investigate accidents to find out their causes and develop lessons learned Inspect and/or monitor the daily operations of employees to make sure they follow safety policies and laws Audit incidents and safety inspections to assure all items are closed in a timely manner Audit equipment inspection reports to ensure that they are repaired timely for employee safety Maintain safety related reports within the appropriate technology platform Address employees and trade partners who fail to comply with minimum safety standards Manage the Haydon Craft Safety Voice (HCSV) committee
