About The Position
Join a team supporting safety operations during upgrades to a uranium processing facility in Oak Ridge, TN. This short-term assignment offers the opportunity to provide critical safety oversight and training support for personnel working in a highly regulated industrial environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on safety professional who can effectively coordinate training requirements, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain accurate documentation, and support safe work practices in a highly regulated industrial environment.
Requirements
- OSHA 30 Certification
- OSHA 510 Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience delivering and coordinating safety training programs
- Strong knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Fall Protection requirements

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee required field employee safety training
- Conduct new hire safety orientations
- Deliver and document CPR/First Aid training requirements
- Support PPE, Hazard Communication, and Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP) training initiatives
- Coordinate and verify Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance and training
- Support fall protection training and compliance efforts
- Assist with rescue training programs, including pole-top and bucket rescue activities
- Conduct field observations and safety inspections
- Ensure compliance with project safety requirements and OSHA regulations
- Maintain training records and safety documentation
