About The Position

The Safety Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment by implementing and overseeing safety programs and procedures.

Requirements

  • OSHA 500 or OSHA 510
  • Proven experience in EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) management
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
  • Excellent communication skills for training development and collaboration with teams

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in First Aid/CPR preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
  • Provide safety training and development programs for employees
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies
  • Maintain records of all safety-related activities including report writing
  • Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and implement solutions
