Safety Inspector Site Safety/Health Officer
About The Position
Waséyabek Federal Services, LLC (WFS) is seeking a Safety Inspector/Site Safety/Health Officer. WFS is a 100% Tribally owned, Native American SBA 8(a) small business of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP). The Safety Inspector must be well versed on OSHA reporting requirements. HAZWOPER 40 and EM-385-1-1 certification are required. They must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years in major Industrial complex or construction projects working in the Safety Department. Additionally, they must have a minimum of five (5) years experience as Safety inspector. The safety inspector will provide a method statement detailing how they set up and run a Safety Department. A Top-Secret security clearance is required.
Requirements
- OSHA reporting requirements knowledge
- HAZWOPER 40 certification
- EM-385-1-1 certification
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years in major Industrial complex or construction projects working in the Safety Department
- Minimum of five (5) years experience as Safety inspector
- Top-Secret security clearance
- Secret Clearance
- Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or current certifications in OSHA 10 & 30, HAZWOPER 40, EM-385-1-1
