About The Position

The Safety, Health & Environmental (SH&E) Administrator supports the safety, health and environmental team by managing, monitoring, tracking and resolving auto liability claims while providing comprehensive administrative support. This role plays a key part in minimizing exposure to claims, reducing financial loss, and supporting safety initiatives within the pest elimination division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or at least 1 year of experience in insurance claims.
  • Experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment.
  • Experience with claims processing, particularly in insurance or liability claims.
  • Knowledge of liability claims, liability insurance and claims resolution processes.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to work effectively with various software tools and systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, documentation and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support effective communication, coordination and handling of auto liability, property damage and small claims paid direct.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, recordkeeping and claim tracking.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or another field related to claims, insurance or safety.
  • 4+ years of experience handling auto liability insurance claims.
  • Experience working with a multi-line insurance carrier.
  • Related experience in the pest control industry or within a field service organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as safety, operations, finance, administration, risk management and legal.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information and documentation with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the pest elimination division with the intake, evaluation, investigation, documentation, communication and tracking of auto liability claims.
  • Perform exposure and coverage determinations, cost estimations and case management for auto liability claims.
  • Coordinate claim management activities from initial notification through to final closure, ensuring accurate and timely handling.
  • Support division and corporate leadership in minimizing exposure to claims and reducing financial loss resulting from claims made against the division.
  • Coordinate and communicate claim notifications, updates and findings with safety, operations, finance, administration, risk management and law departments.
  • Obtain and organize necessary documentation, records, statements and applicable regulations to fully investigate the scope of each claim or incident.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all claims, ensuring records are complete and audit-ready.
  • Provide administrative support for the pest elimination dash camera program, including data organization and follow-up activities.
  • Provide administrative support for safety training initiatives, including scheduling, documentation and tracking participation.
  • Maintain leading indicator recordkeeping for safety programs, ensuring data is accurate, timely and well organized.
  • Support general administrative needs of the safety, health and environmental team as required.
