Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, or environmental role within chemical, polymer, resin, or related industries preferred.
Professional knowledge and experience in the areas of Safety, Environmental Regulations, and Industrial Hygiene monitoring.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Remain current with regulatory compliance requirements and issues.
Audit systems within the RC14001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
Maintain permits, compile site environmental data (air, water, and waste), and file regulatory reports.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to regulatory agencies.
Conduct annual company-required and regulatory environmental testing.
Provide SHE training to employees, suppliers, visitors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Collect and compile site safety and environmental statistics and report results.
Train supervisors on safety and environmental regulations.
