About The Position
Safety Management Group is a nationally recognized professional service organization that provides workplace safety consulting, training, staffing, program planning, and implementation. SMG seeks a Safety Escort in Boston, Massachusetts.
Requirements
- 3+ years of escorting experience
- 3+ years of direct safety experience
- General industry safety preferred
- Lab safety preferred
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site observations to ensure safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations are followed.
- Ensuring appropriate PPE is utilized.
- Monitor Lockout/Tagout and fall protection.
- Advise staff on any issue involving prevention measures and restrictions.
- Escort lab vendors while they work inside laboratories.
- Provide escorting for the site and owner facilities to follow safety and security requirements.
