About The Position

At North Wind, we are advancing hypersonic technologies through cutting-edge research, system development, and flight testing. Our team drives innovation in high-speed aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and mission-critical components, supporting every phase of hypersonic programs - from R&D to flight testing. If you are passionate about pushing technological boundaries in a dynamic environment, we invite you to join us. We are seeking an experienced Systems Safety Engineer to join our Test Operations Division. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating hardware and software hazards across the entire product lifecycle of design, build and operations of advanced wind tunnels and their support systems; including high-pressure fluid systems, compressor systems, vacuum systems, and cryogenic systems. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to design safety controls directly into critical infrastructure, ensuring total mission success.
