About The Position

The Safety Engineer will meet and discuss Safety with all working trades onsite providing insight into Franjo Constructions Culture, expectations, and goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health/ Safety or relevant experience in lieu of education
- Must have current driver's license and maintain current OSHA 300 and 500 certifications
- Must be able to pass a 7 year background check.
- We also conduct pre-employment drug testing.
- Job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities
- Plan of the day communications with the Safety Director.
- Daily site inspections of assigned projects.
- Daily communications with the project superintendent/foreman.
- Identifying hazards and reviewing them with specific trades.
- Specific JHA/JSA problem solving.
- Ensure all local, state, and federal requirements are being followed.
