Requirements
Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of environmental health, fire safety or safety experience
Master's degree and no experience
At least 3 years of environmental health, fire safety or safety experience
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and continuously improve, health and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence
Conduct routine safety audits and workplace inspections, identifying risks and driving corrective actions through closure
Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and ensure effective preventive measures are implemented
Partner closely with production, maintenance, and medical teams to support safe and efficient operations
Deliver engaging training on emergency response, hazardous materials handling, and safety procedures across all levels of the organization
Serve as a point of contact with external regulatory agencies as needed
Support workers’ compensation case coordination and reporting activities
Monitor industrial hygiene and occupational health programs to ensure ongoing compliance and risk reduction
Recommend and track corrective actions for identified health and safety hazards
Contribute to project-based initiatives requiring independent judgment and technical health and safety expertise
