The EHS Technician is responsible for promoting Health and Safety (EHS) stewardship throughout the company while inspecting and providing EHS guidance and support to the workforce. Supports the development of EHS programs and projects. Ensures that the company maintains compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. Promotes a total Health and safety culture of ownership and accountability for the safety of all workers and protection of the environment. Supports and commits to the organization and company's mission, vision, and values. Responsible for ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to, and policies and practices are followed. They help implement, monitor, and review the protective and preventative measures that companies are required or choose to follow, and work to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents, and injuries. Carrying out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced. Carrying out daily site inspections to ensure that policies and procedures are being properly implemented and maintained.
