Safety Coordinator

About The Position
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day health and safety functions at both Meister Cheese Company and Muscoda Protein Products. This includes implementing the organization’s safety program, working with teams to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, leading the employee safety council, and monitoring the facility and processes for adherence to OSHA and other local regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience in utilization of Microsoft Office
- 2+ years safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field
