About The Position
NGL Transportation is hiring a Safety & Compliance Coordinator for our Mobile, Alabama terminal. This role involves monitoring driver compliance, managing inspections and maintenance records, supporting driver onboarding, handling disciplinary actions, assisting with dispatch, managing accident reports, and conducting safety meetings and training to ensure compliance with FMCSA and company safety policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience working for a trucking company.
- General knowledge of trucking operations and DOT/FMCSA regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient with basic computer applications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor drivers' Hours of Service (HOS) compliance daily.
- Manage DOT inspections and maintain truck and chassis inspection records.
- Schedule and track Preventive Maintenance (PM), annual truck inspections, and annual chassis inspections.
- Support driver recruiting, onboarding, and update internal safety/compliance records.
- Handle driver warnings, disciplinary actions, and termination documentation.
- Assist dispatch with driver-related issues.
- Manage accident reports and follow-up investigations.
- Conduct quarterly safety meetings and driver safety training.
- Help ensure compliance with FMCSA and company safety policies.
