About The Position

The Safety Companion carries out routine and assigned non-nursing tasks and assists the nurse in carrying out patient care activities within the scope of training and experience. This position monitors the patient's verbalizations and reports all actions to the nurse. To provide the services of a sitter for any patient on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require constant observation in order to maximize his or her safety.
