This position is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property, securing rooms, and assisting guests with room access. The role involves conducting emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits. Responsibilities include monitoring Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems, authorizing and documenting access to secured areas, and assisting guests and employees during emergency situations. The role requires responding to accidents, administering first aid/CPR as needed, gathering information, and completing reports while maintaining confidentiality. Additionally, the position involves defusing disturbances, resolving safety hazards, handling interruptions and complaints, and escorting unwelcome persons from the property. Ensuring compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and using proper code responses for assistance are also key duties. The role also supports management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model, and acting as the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. It requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, completing safety training, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and welcoming guests according to company standards. Anticipating and addressing guest needs, speaking professionally, preparing accurate written documents, and answering telephones with proper etiquette are essential. Developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also part of the role. The position requires adherence to quality expectations and standards. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements. The role involves reading and visually verifying information, inspecting tools and equipment, using computers, moving at a speed required for work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog), and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. It also includes moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects, with specific weight limits and requirements for assistance. Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, as well as over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs, are necessary. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also required. Other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors may be assigned.
