The Safety and Risk Officer (Security Officer) is responsible for adhering to all established company standards when interacting with guests, associates, vendors, and other visitors to the venue. This role involves patrolling premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, controlling access to the facility, and verifying identification. The officer will respond to alarms and security incidents in a timely manner, report and document security breaches and unusual activities, and escort employees and visitors as needed. A visible security presence is crucial to deter unauthorized activity. The role also includes assisting with emergency evacuations and procedures, and administering first aid if necessary.
