About The Position

The Northeastern University Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships Program offers a two-year experiential program for Pharm.D. graduates to advance lifelong learning and training for evolving workforce needs in the pharmaceutical industry. Fellows collaborate with industry partners and Northeastern University faculty on professional development, teaching, service, and scholarly activities. In partnership with Northeastern University, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals is offering a two-year Safety and Risk Management fellowship, based in Cambridge, MA. This fellowship provides an opportunity to work closely with Alnylam, a leader in RNAi therapeutics, and contribute to the development and maintenance of drug safety profiles for their innovative RNAi platform.

Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution
Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the State of Massachusetts
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong time management and leadership abilities
Ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at both the industry site and Northeastern

Responsibilities

Provide scientific and strategic assistance to Safety Product Leads to support Alnylam products.
Participate in the collection, interpretation, and presentation of safety data in internal forums.
Support signal detection and management activities with Lead Safety Physicians and PV Scientists.
Engage in safety data review, analysis, and reporting of safety data to internal and external stakeholders by planning, managing, and authoring safety aggregate reports (e.g. PBRERs, DSURs).
Participate in the development and management of Risk Management Plans.
