The role of Safety and Environmental Administrator consists of, but is not limited to, administer payroll and bonus for Safety and Environmental, day to day administrative activities, daily processing of departments mail and interoffice correspondence, scheduling meetings, daily, weekly and monthly reporting. You must be able to generate reports and create representative charts and graphs, preparing presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Communicating closely across all departments is an important aspect and confidentiality is an absolute must in this position. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
