PCG is seeking a Safety Administrator to support our Safety operations based in Lenexa, KS. This role is responsible for maintaining safety documentation and reporting, supporting training and compliance activities, and providing administrative support to the Safety Department.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of administrative experience
  • Highly organized with experience supporting senior-level leaders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Office 365) and Box
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to plan, coordinate, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound judgment with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Support management with use and navigation of the document/file system.
  • Ensure file completeness and perform document control for safety certifications; create tracking tools and maintain audit-ready records.
  • Create and maintain environmental and safety forms, permits, matrices, and spreadsheets; enter and verify data.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the PCG Safety Department.
  • Prepare documents using Microsoft Office 365, including tables, charts, and memos.
  • Maintain, update, and distribute environmental and safety policies and procedures.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions; verify receipt of ordered items; maintain storage and inventory records.
  • Record and distribute meeting minutes for department and other assigned meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality related to environmental, safety, and security information.
  • Maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database and keep information current.
  • Coordinate monthly reporting, including audit documentation and required supporting records.
  • Develop, coordinate, and track safety training programs and completion status.
