This position exist to provide direct supervision of the Tucson Compliance Supervisor. The position is extremely important part of the ADOSH program due to the fact that it provides direction for the ADOSH Tucson Compliance team. Although it does not normally directly supervise, the position can provide supervision for Phoenix and Tucson staff in the absence of, or requested by other ADOSH Deputy Directors. This position also has direct responsibility for initiating state plan program changes, implementing federal program changes, directives, etc., and adopting new standards, policies, and procedures. The position also helps develop the annual ICA and OSHA 23(g) budgets. The position works closely with the ICA Legal Division, as well as the Governor's Regulatory Review Council (GRRC). This position is available for remote work on a full-time basis within Arizona (including virtual office arrangements).
