About The Position
Drake University is seeking responsible, service-oriented individuals to join our team as Part-Time Safe Ride Bus Drivers. Safe Ride provides safe, reliable transportation for Drake University students, faculty, and staff during evening hours throughout the academic year.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly during evening and late-night hours.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a university vehicle along designated routes and service areas.
- Provide reliable transportation for Drake University students, faculty, and staff.
- Follow all traffic laws, university policies, and safety procedures.
- Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections before and after shifts.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude.
- Report incidents, accidents, or vehicle concerns promptly.
- Assist in creating a welcoming and respectful environment for all passengers.
