About The Position

Carrier Sekani Family Services (CSFS) is an innovative and progressive leader in Indigenous health and family services, with culture at the center of its operations. Since its inception in the late 1980s, CSFS has grown to over 475 employees, serving 11 member Nations. The organization offers unique experiences, close connections with communities, and the natural wonders of northern BC. The Safe House Administrative Support Worker assists the Safe House Manager and Safe House team in the day-to-day operations of the Safe House.

Requirements

  • Business Admin Diploma
  • Diploma in Social Services
  • Equivalent combination of training and experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop forms and templates to support project/initiatives (registration forms, waivers, etc.), record keeping (ensuring confidentiality, respect for privacy, and protection of personal information), retain and collate data for statistical purposes, prepare program reports as required and ensure requests are submitted to the manager in a timely manner
  • Assist the Safe house Manager in the creation and maintenance of the Safe house operations plan and safety plan
  • Assist with budget development and financial reporting requirements
  • Develop culturally appropriate resources including brochures, handouts and other educational materials to raise awareness and market available services and programs
