About The Position

The SAE Supervisor, Loss Prevention is responsible for protecting company assets through the development and implementation of all Loss Prevention practices and Inventory Control Programs. This role involves supporting loss prevention strategies and inventory control analytics, providing recommendations to protect assets, meet reporting requirements, and plan for the organization's loss prevention and inventory control needs. The position also supports investigations into guest and employee fraud, makes recommendations for operational guidelines, and ensures the UO Loss Prevention Education & Awareness programs are implemented.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (AA) is required or equivalent from two year College or Technical school.
  • 3-5 years Investigative or Loss Prevention experience with 1-3 years supervisory experience required
  • Reid or Wicklander Interview certificate required.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Loss Prevention strategies and inventory control analytics, provide recommendations designed to protect assets, meet reporting requirements, shrink awareness and effectively plan for the loss prevention and inventory control needs of the organization.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling, work product and discipline of all Loss Prevention Analyst. Direct Supervision of the Loss Prevention team of Analyst tasked with the review and reconciliation of all revenue variances, trend analysis of discounts, voids and returns. Performance of Spot Audit and Loss Prevention Audits designed to measure compliance in the field and across all sales channels.
  • Provide support to Investigations on case development into guest and employee fraud resort-wide including theft, violations of company policies and other internal matters.
  • Make recommendations for operational guidelines and co-authors departmental manuals relating to cash handling and inventory controls.
  • Ensure the UO Loss Prevention Educations & Awareness programs to introduce and unite all Team Members in a comprehensive effort to promote awareness and protect assets.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
