About The Position

The Sadler’s Outlet Sales Associate role involves working one-on-one with customers to help them find furniture that matches their style, needs, and budget. The company emphasizes building connections with customers and offers in-house training, so no prior furniture or sales experience is required, just a great personality and a winning attitude. Sadler’s Outlet stores are locally owned and part of the larger Furniture Enterprises family of stores, which includes brands like Sadler’s, Ashley, Williams and Kay, Mattress Firm, Ultimate Mattress, and La Z Boy. Furniture Enterprises of Alaska operates 14 stores with plans for more and has been recognized as a “BEST PLACE TO WORK” both locally and nationally. Requirements

Ability to listen and understand the customer’s needs.
Succeed in a team environment, yet able to work independently.
Ability to learn POS system and general computer programs
Able to be mobile on the showroom floor, frequently walking, bending, sitting, and kneeling.
Able to work retail hours including weekends and holidays such as Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and background check.
