Working collaboratively across Medical, Market Access, Field Medical, Commercial Insights, and Brand teams, the role involves designing and delivering evidence programs to address in-market gaps, inform strategy, and enable appropriate access and uptake. • 5+ years of relevant RWE experience in the pharmaceutical industry, managed care, academia, or consulting.
  • Deep proficiency in observational study design, real-world data sources, and causal inference methods.
  • Comprehensive, current understanding of the US healthcare system, including the evolving payer and policy landscape, quality measures, value-based care models, reimbursement dynamics, and guideline development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated publication record and ability to translate evidence for non-technical US stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively across matrix teams (US and Global) with a high degree of autonomy.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience contributing to economic models, AMCP Dossiers, PVP decks, or contracting strategy inputs.
  • Track record of building productive external partnerships with academic collaborators, registries, learning health systems, or data providers.
  • Familiarity with applying AI/ML tools to RWE workflows; able to evaluate validity, limitations, and bias.
  • Respiratory experience is strongly preferred, particularly in COPD or asthma and with inhaled/respiratory therapeutics.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with US Medical, Market Access, Commercial Insights, and Brand teams to define and strengthen the clinical and economic value proposition for Airsupra and Breztri, aligning evidence priorities to brand strategy and US decision points.
  • Lead the Scientific Narrative and development of the Integrated Evidence Plan, operationalizing core messages across publications, congress presentations, payer dossiers, and field resources.
  • Design, execute, and report observational studies, target trial emulations, registries, and pragmatic effectiveness research, applying causal inference and bias mitigation.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure fit-for-purpose real-world data sources (claims, EMR, registry, linked datasets), championing representativeness and health equity.
  • Build and contribute to cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, author AMCP Dossier sections, and provide evidence inputs for payer value propositions and contracting strategy.
  • Translate RWE outputs into clear, actionable insights and tools for Field Medical teams engaging with health systems, payers, and population health leaders.
  • Co-own the evidence-to-practice handoff with Implementation Science counterparts to ensure RWE leads to changes in care and outcomes.
  • Cultivate collaborations with academic investigators, learning health systems, data providers, patient advocacy groups, and relevant registries or quality-measure bodies.
  • Coordinate with global counterparts to align methods and assets, ensuring US outputs inform global submissions and value dossiers.
  • Apply AI/ML tools in literature review, data quality checks, and signal detection with human-in-the-loop oversight, documenting methods and leading peer learning.
  • Adhere to research governance processes, protocol review, and scientific committee approvals, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, GCP, and internal SOPs.
