About The Position

You will work side by side with experienced RV Service Technicians as you assist with inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance. You gain real-world experience troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, HVAC, propane, and appliance systems, while also helping with Pre-Delivery Inspections and preparing RVs for customers. You practice basic carpentry, upholstery, paint and body work, and minor chassis repairs, all while safely operating tools and diagnostic equipment. You keep your workspace organized, follow dealership safety protocols, and actively participate in hands-on and classroom training opportunities. Each task builds your confidence and skill set, positioning you for advancement into a full RV Service Technician role.

Requirements

  • No prior RV experience required.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Interest in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to participate in and successfully complete the apprenticeship training program.
  • Ability to follow instructions, technical documentation, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to learn technical concepts and repair procedures quickly.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to visually inspect components, equipment, and systems for defects or repair needs.
  • Must have the ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, automotive repair, maintenance, landscaping, manufacturing, trades, or related hands-on work is preferred.
  • Vocational training, technical school coursework, or mechanical hobbies/interests are a plus.
