As an RV Service Advisor, you will be responsible for initiating services and repairs by ascertaining trailer performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; and maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the Guest and technician, ensuring the Guest’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the Guest. You will develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, and calculating the customer's payment, including deductibles. You will prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into the service database system. You will communicate additional repair and service needs to the Guest based on trailer inspection and administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying trailer repairs. Keeping Guests informed of service specials, completion times, and service expenses is also a key part of this role.
