About The Position

The Camping Advisor is responsible for delivering comprehensive product show-throughs on the customer’s pickup day, promoting essential parts and accessories, following up with customers who did not purchase, and providing top-tier customer care in our store. This role involves conducting detailed, hands-on demonstrations of new units, selling value-added RV solutions, and maintaining long-term customer relationships. Additionally, the role includes in-store support such as stocking shelves, merchandising, and assisting walk-in customers, as well as collaborating with sales, parts, and service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and staying informed about new products and industry trends.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Familiarity with RV operations, essential camping gear, and accessories
  • Professional, positive demeanor and customer friendly
  • Aptitude for selling products and maintaining customer relationships
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety instructions and promote a safe working environment
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team, in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous experience with automated inventory system helpful

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed, hands-on demonstrations of new units on the day customers pick up their RVs.
  • Show customers how to operate and maintain their unit’s features, ensuring they feel confident and comfortable before they leave.
  • Qualify and gain customer agreement to sell comprehensive, added-value RV solutions including, protection, power, safety & towing, lifestyle, and essential camping accessories tailored to each customer’s specific needs and camping style.
  • Educate customers on how these products enhance their camping experiences and improve convenience, safety, and comfort.
  • Follow up with customers who did not purchase, offering additional information, answering questions, and addressing any hesitations or concerns.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with past customers, periodically reaching out to see how they’re enjoying their RV, suggesting new products, and encouraging future visits.
  • Assist in stocking and maintaining shelves of camping gear, ensuring product displays are neat, organized, and fully replenished.
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers, helping them locate parts, recommending accessories, and providing expert guidance on product selection.
  • Work closely with sales, parts, and service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Stay informed about new products, industry trends, and camping best practices to continually improve recommendations and deliver greater value to customers.
