About The Position

Indie Campers, a leading campervan marketplace, is seeking skilled and passionate RV Maintenance Mechanics for its depot. This role is crucial for maintaining the fleet of campervans to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and enabling unforgettable road trips. Requirements

  • Education or certified training in mechanics, mechatronics technical, or a similar program in the automotive industry.
  • At least 1+ years of experience with hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • English proficiency.
  • Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in campervans is a plus.
  • Technical degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct systematic inspection of vehicles and diagnose problems in mechanical, electrical, heating, and water systems.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on campervans and motorhomes, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Execute light bodywork repairs involving spare parts replacement (e.g., lightbulbs, windows, side mirrors).
  • Substitute and repair campervan spare parts.
  • Troubleshoot and repair campervan appliances.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with external partners.
  • Coordinate vehicle interventions with external suppliers and regional teams.
  • Keep all vehicle information systems updated according to established procedures.
  • Move campervans to and from local vendors, parking facilities, or other depots.
  • Maintain depot equipment and spare parts organized and clean.
  • Keep spare parts inventory systems updated at all times.
  • Participate in daily depot operations, including preparation of vehicles and equipment for customers.
  • Assist with handling incoming reservations, welcoming guests, and managing check-ins and check-outs.
  • Receive and collect shipments and supplies, organize them in storage, register item consumption, and manage new orders.
  • Maintain depot equipment, extras, and consumables stored at the depot.
